State-of-the-art research infrastructure at Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT) and Polytechnique Montréal allow the realization of high quality research programs. The two institutions host more than twenty dedicated laboratories.
At UQAT, students and professors have access to state-of-the-art research laboratories and specialized equipment for mining environment research. The institution also provides all the information technology infrastructure, videoconferencing tools and work space needed for students to conduct their research and educational activities.
UQAT’s geographical proximity to the mining industry enables interactions with industrial partners to apply research and for technology transfer. Unique projects can thus be led directly at mine sites that are readily made available for research activities.
